Our first look at 4e stats!

The 4e D&D Minis stat card that is to be given out at next month's D&D Game Day has been leaked to the web giving us our first real look at what stats will look like in 4e.

4e Stats Card

It's a bit hard to make out everything, so here's it in plain text:

SPINED DEVIL
Medium Immortal Humanoid (Devil)
LEVEL 6 SKIRMISHER
INIT +5 SPD 5 FLY 7
Senses: nethersight. Perception +5
Resist fire 20
Attacks: Melee 2 claws +9 vs AC each: 2d4+4
Spine Rain Standard; ranged 10; +9 Dex vs. Ref; 1d6+2 + 2d6 fire AND Poisoned 5, Slowed while Poisoned
SKILLS: Spot +10
AC 20
FORT 18
REF 18
WILL 18
HP/Bloodied 47/23
Str +7 (19) Con +5 (14) Dex +5 (15)
Int +5 (15) Wis +5 (14) Cha +5 (15)

What changes does 4e bring to the table so far? Alignment is not listed at all. Neither are hit dice or CR. Speed is listed in squares not feet. Nethersight? Bloodied? No full attack option. Ranged attacks seem to be rolled against Reflex and not AC. Poison DC? Not enough information on that yet. Only one skill listed for this guy and no feats at all to worry with. The biggest change overall to me is that the bonuses for characteristics looks to be on an entirely new scale than what 3e used. Oh, that and Saves have been flipped so that they're now target numbers and not bonuses to a roll.

Overall, this goes a long way in convincing me that 4e will be taking a huge step in simplifying D&D. Monsters with stats written like this will be both easier to write up and to use in play.

You’ve only got half the card there. The alignment is on the back: LE M Outsider (Baatezu, Evil, Extraplanar, Lawful). So is the CR: 6

Nope, that’s the 3.5 version of the monster you’re seeing there. The back of the card would show the DDM stats.
