As I've begun thinking of my next campaign, I've had a look around for the best ways of drawing maps. Here's what I've found-
- Cartographers Guild
- Hexmapper
- Campaign Cartographer
- Fractal Mapper
- AutoRealm
- Dundjinni
- Maps & Floorplans at Dragonsfoot
- Art Gallery, Cartography & Miniatures Painting at ENWorld
- Fantasy Cartography With Adobe Photoshop
- Cartography of Uresia
- A Guide to RPG Mapmaking
- How to draw nice maps
- How to: Old Map Effect in Photoshop
- Peter's Guide to Map Creation
- Photoshop Dungeon Tutorial
- Worldbuilding Resources: Hex Map GIMP Brushes
- mkhexgrid - A fully-configurable hex grid generator

I use a combination of Dundjinni and Photoshop for post-work. I have about 3 GB of user-generated art for Dundjinni. The community is prolific, friendly, and very generous! You can download thousands of free png files and maps from their forums.

Very nice maps. I wish I could do so well. Thanks for the link.
